FAQs

PwC India’s Aspiring Women Leaders’ Scholarship is designed to support women engineering students from their second year through graduation. Selected scholars receive full tuition-fee support for Years 2–4, a laptop at the start of the programme, and access to mentorship, technical learning, industry exposure and career-readiness opportunities.

Women students who are currently in the 2nd year of a B.Tech/B.E. programme (any stream) at one of the six participating institutes can apply. Applicants must be 18 or older, be an Indian citizen, PIO or OCI, and not be receiving another scholarship covering the same educational expenses. Applications from women from modest economic backgrounds are especially encouraged.

Applications first undergo eligibility and document verification, including confirmation by the institute. Eligible applicants then complete an online problem-solving assessment, followed by a panel interview for shortlisted candidates. Final selections are made through the Scholarship Committee process and confirmed with the respective institute.

No. Students are not charged a fee to apply for or participate in the scholarship selection process.

Selected applicants will receive a formal scholarship communication/ award letter after completion of the assessment and interview stages and confirmation of eligibility by their institute.

Yes. In fact, current enrolment is required: applicants must be in the 2nd year of a B.Tech/B.E. programme at one of the six participating institutes.

Students register through the dedicated programme page on the PwC India website. Documents and eligibility are then verified with the institute, followed by the online assessment and panel interview for shortlisted applicants. After final selection and institute confirmation, selected scholars receive the scholarship award communication, formally accept the scholarship, and complete onboarding. Tuition fees are paid directly to the university, and the laptop is provided through the institute.
