Satyavati Berera, Partner

Satya has over 35 years of experience across diversified sectors in the areas of Assurance, Consulting and Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) Services. She was actively involved in designing and implementing control strengthening and process improvement solutions for a variety of Indian and multinational companies. She graduated from Lady Shri Ram College in Economics and is a Fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI).

Arnab Basu, Advisory Leader, PwC India

Arnab joined PwC post his MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta in 2001. In his previous role, he was the Technology Consulting leader for PwC India for five years. He is also the regional managing partner, East region and has expanded the firm’s footprints across the region including Bangladesh, Nepal and Bhutan. He has extensive consulting experience nationally and internationally in diverse fields including digital strategy and business transformation, financial performance management, removing complexity and defining the digital journey leveraging enterprise applications. He is part of our global technology leadership team and has worked for a range of top-tier clients across multiple industries including industrial products, discrete manufacturing, metals and mining, oil and gas.

Bimal Tanna, Partner Affairs Leader, PwC India

Bimal is the Partner Affairs Leader of PwC India. He is part of the India Leadership Team.

In the two decades with PwC, Bimal played several leadership and client-facing roles, including India West Region Managing Partner, Industrial Products Sector Leader, Deputy Deals Leader, Valuations Leader, Private Equity Leader, India West Region Deals Leader, HC Leader for Assurance. Prior to PwC, Bimal continues to be the Global Relationship Partner for a very large Indian conglomerate which is an India Priority Account.

The experience encompasses a broad range of industries including industrial manufacturing, auto and auto components, aerospace and defence, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, real estate and infrastructure, oil and gas, healthcare, financial services, hospitality, information technology, media and telecom, travel and tourism.

Bimal is a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI).

neeraj gupta

Neeraj Gupta, Partner Affairs Leader, PwC India

Neeraj is the Partner Affairs Leader of PwC India. He is also a part of the India Leadership Team.

In over three decades with PwC, Neeraj has played several leadership and client-facing roles, including as the Risk Assurance Services Leader and then Clients & Industries Leader for the Assurance Line of Service. He has extensive experience in providing services to diverse sectors including automotive, IT/ITES, pharmaceuticals and consumer products. His areas of expertise include corporate governance advisory, enterprise risk management, process improvement, internal audit and controls assurance services to several Indian and multinational clients across sectors. He is also a frequent speaker at PwC’s Non-Executive Director (NED) events as well as faculty on the Director’s Masterclass programme run by Hunt Partners.

Neeraj is a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI).

He is also a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) and Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE).

asha ramanathan

Asha Ramanathan, Chief Operating Office, PwC India

Asha Ramanathan is the Chief Operating Officer at PwC India and a member of its India Leadership Team. She leads PwC India’s agenda to become Net Zero by 2030. A passionate auditor, seasoned professional with deep technical expertise and an industry leader with close to 30 years of experience, Asha has led large, complex engagements for clients across a vast range of sectors. She is a qualified Chartered Accountant who joined the firm in 2009 and has since spearheaded pivotal portfolios for the firm, including diversity and inclusion, regional learning, education and corporate social responsibility - actively advocating and working towards greater diversity, specifically gender, focusing on upskilling across teams and actively pursuing the PwC India Foundation’s objectives of making an impact in the areas of education, WASH, social entrepreneurship and environmental sustainability.

Asha is a gardening enthusiast, loves to go on road trips and treks, enjoys cooking the choicest recipes for her family and has recently set out to read and understand the Bhagavad Gita.
