Guidelines for Operation of ECMS released by the MeitY – Key aspects

The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) has released¹ the Guidelines for Operation of the Electronics Component Manufacturing Scheme (ECMS or scheme) on 26 April 2025. This follows the announcement of the ECMS earlier in April and marks a significant step toward ensuring the effective operation and smooth implementation of the scheme.
