TALENT - Tax Leaders of a New Tomorrow

What is TALENT?

TALENT is ‘Tax Leaders of a New Tomorrow’ - our unique forum for the next generation of tax leaders.

In the past decades, India has caught the attention of the world with its tremendous potential, which is driven by its all-encompassing growth paradigms. Tax and Regulatory reform have been at the centre of successive Government’s agenda to make India stand out as a nation with mature legal and policy frameworks. This has led to introduction of several new laws and changes in others, with GST being the most talked of and one which all of us will be proud to have lived to see the momentous change over. The BEPS agenda is going to continue to accelerate the pace of change, and with recent reports on overhaul of the Direct Tax laws, it seems the excitement has only begun. It is therefore, a challenging, but important task for young tax professionals to be in sync with these dynamic changes and to understand and apply such reform to the business situation they deal with. To add to the complexity, there is limited guidance available on many of the amendments, which are unprecedented in their implications.

Recognising the need to address these challenges, we are proud to launch our TALENT forum with the primary aim of upgrading our young tax professionals. The forum will focus on developing the knowledge and skills of its members by regularly updating them on the latest developments in the tax world and providing them access to specialised webcasts and events organised by our subject matter specialists at regular intervals. The young professionals will also have the opportunity to gain guidance on soft skills as well as network with peers and share best practices.
