Indian exchanges recorded the highest number of IPOs in the first half of 2018. The second half, however, witnessed concerns looming in the form of liquidity crunch, higher crude prices and weaker rupee, which made promoters and investors wary of approaching capital markets.
The tide is indeed turning, and 2019 is anticipated to be the year of consolidation and preparing for the next leap in capital markets.
Against this background, PwC is hosting a series of technical forums on "Onboarding the pre-IPO bandwagon!" The session will focus on the preparedness of the company for a stellar performance at the IPO and will touch on aspects like value drivers, equity story, alternatives to capital market, structuring, fund raising preparations and the anticipated pitfalls.
