The journey of the round table conferences began with discussions among a few Chief Audit Executives (CAEs) who were deliberating on the need to have a forum that would allow them to network with their peers on a regular basis. PwC offered to facilitate such discussions in a structured manner and the first roundtable conference was held in October 2009. In 2011, the journey of the roundtable conferences continued with a wide-range of insightful discussions on areas where internal audit functions can contribute.
