The hub will leverage the best of PwC’s industry knowledge, creative thinking and experience in business transformation to accelerate collective growth for the startup ecosystem

Hyderabad, March 30, 2017: PwC India today announced that it has set up an Innovation Hub aimed at mentoring startups at T-Hub’s Catalyst facility. The Innovation Hub has been set up as part of PwC’s strategic partnership with T-Hub, a startup incubator launched by the Telangana government, to encourage, nurture and contribute to the growth of startups across the country.

As a strategic partner, PwC will play the role of knowledge partner, business mentor and strategy consultant to the startup community. It will also help to bridge the gap between the startup ecosystem and the market by providing startups with access to PwC’s vast network of clients and resources across 157 countries. This initiative is aligned with PwC's Innovation Program “InnWoke,” which is built on the principle of open innovation, and aims to support and mentor PwC intrapreneurs as well as the startup community in India.

Commenting on the association, Murali Talasila, Partner & Innovation Leader, PwC India, said: “Bringing great ideas to life can be a challenging proposition. Having access to a wide knowledge base, market resources and strong mentorship is critical for startups. In line with our purpose of solving important problems in society, PwC India is proud to partner with and augment the efforts of the government of Telangana in supporting and mentoring startups to bring their innovative ideas to life and building a culture of sustained innovation across the country.”
