Meet our leader
Vivek Prasad
Vivek is the Chief Commercial Officer for PwC India and part of the PwC India Leadership Team. In this role, he leads the commercial side of the business across lines of service to bring the full firm to our clients. His focus areas are growth, profitability, productivity and collaboration.

Vivek is the Chief Commercial Officer for PwC India and part of the PwC India Leadership Team. In this role, he leads the commercial side of the business across lines of service to bring the full firm to our clients. His focus areas are growth, profitability, productivity and collaboration. Prior to this, he held the position of Markets Leader for India, leading go-to-market agenda, industries programme, priority clients and the PwC Brand. He also served as the Clients & Markets function leader for the Asia-Pac and Americas (APA) cluster.
Vivek is a resident of Mumbai and has been a lifelong PwCer - joined in 1995 as an article trainee. He is a qualified chartered accountant and in his close to three decades of experience, he has led many assurance, due diligence and advisory engagements for some of the largest domestic and international clients within the banking, asset management, mutual funds, private equity and capital markets segments.
In the past, he has led the Financial Services sector for PwC India and the India-West region Assurance practice. Vivek is closely involved in various industry committees and is an active member at industry events and forums.

Vivek Belgavi has more than 25 years of experience in providing Strategy, Transformation, Innovation, Analytics, and Data Management solutions to Banking, Capital Markets, Investment Management and Insurance clients.

Vivek Belgavi has more than 25 years of experience in providing strategy, transformation, innovation, analytics, and data management solutions to banking, capital markets, investment management and insurance clients. He has led multiple data and process impact assessment projects and initiatives across multiple regulatory initiatives such as Basel II, IFRS and banking regulatory reporting.
Vivek has identified new market propositions, supported team enablement, and built key client relationship management. He is part of PwC’s Global FinTech Council, co-founder and advisory board member for Startup bootcamp FinTech Mumbai chapter, and part of the Advisory board of a FinTech technology start-up. He is a recognised thought leader, and has researched, published and presented papers and market reports on emergence of FinTech and its disruption to Financial Services industry.
He has created a FinTech launch pad in PwC to help the ecosystem and is an active speaker in industry conferences and start-up mentoring sessions as a FinTech expert. Additionally, he is recognised as one of India’s top 30 FinTech influencers, by The Digital Fifth (an independent consulting firm) and is part of the Extended Leadership Team at PwC India.
